What’s the democratic party leadership in this analogy? Are they suggesting we use a knife to cut holes in the boat instead of a gun?

That’s a little too much effort. Maybe in 2017. In 2025 if feels like they’re all trying to make sure there is a place for them as politicians within our new fascist regime. Not sure where that fits into the analogy. But it’s seriously how it feels.

The career democracts and “leaders” are staying in the background and gladly letting Bernie, AoC, etc be the inevitable political targets for the fascist. Later they can serve them up on a plate to offer to the fascist as a sacrifice.

That’s the only explanation I have for what we’re seeing from the democratic party.

Edit: Oh yeah and the absolute wet noodle that is Chuck Schumer. He makes a statement every once in awhile with the level of energy that Joe Biden’s rotting corpse would have.

You don’t have to get that deep into it. The DNC is the other guy on the boat; did nothing to try and stop the shooting, is doing nothing to stop the sinking, and is honestly so irrelevant to what’s happening that you can only see them in half the panels.
