If other posts arent rated high, then new posts are “Top” rated high at the start. But if other posts have higher votes then new posts will be below them.

Yes thats the issue, if it is sorted by hot, new posts never gets right to the top.
Do you have the sorting wrong? As i can guess its on “Top” sorting not “New”
Yeah please do
Hi,
could you send me a link to the comment where you wanted a response from us. Sorry if we forgot to respond.
Then you havent had a chainsaw, you just simply run with an active chainsaw.
They work better than some posts from lemmy <-> lemmy, i get quicker responses and federation with mastodon than with lemmy. The only annoying thing is to start a conversation i and the responder need to ping us both.
I would prefer if its deleted by creator or mod/admin it should be deleted as soon as possible. To reduce bad/harmful usage of that feature. But i cant stop you do otherwise ;D
There is no implementation for alt text yet on lemmy, how would it handle post purges? / removals?
Sadly then admins and mods will not use it until it has those features as otherwise it would be pain in the *ss to use it and swap around.
it should have good moderation implementation and have its markdown synced with lemmy ( like spoilers etc. ).
It should be easy to block, report.
I like the idea of the offline support. Could be cool if you are able to “download” a post for offline reading or just reading through its comments. <= could be linked with the “favorite” functionality of lemmy.
Thanks for adding another app to the diversity of lemmy.
I guess there could be just a script before deployment.
Comments should be removed before shipping.
Hi,
simple answer: Federation.
Federation takes time and if another instance didnt recieved the deletion users can still reply, vote and report it.
Or just use linux and dont worry.
Hi,
on Fedihosting / LW we focus on stability and we target a version that has at least 2 versions released before we upgrade. We do this to catch all the bugs that gets noticed and patched.
We will discuss this with the team if we see any upgrades possible to pinpoint, but this will take some time as we have some custom patches for some of our cases.
Thanks
Edit: Refer to https://lemmy.world/comment/13529650 for better explaination.
Yeah i have the same feeling about it, but its like that buzzword AI. If AI company fails its always the “AI” but no one understood what AI did in that project.
Are you logged in? The languages cant be, because this would be filtered by the backend ( and so it would be equal on all apps/websites ).
Could you send us the affected communities? So that we can check on our side if we can reproduce it.
The “pseudo” federated platform. If it flops they will just tell everyone “federation s*cks” but BlueSky isnt federated at all
Yes the reason is, there was fewer upvotes in those 30 minutes.
