I’m convinced there is no master plan. The administration isn’t perfectly calculating the optimal path to fascism, it’s just the natural consequence of idiots running rampant until someone stops them and the American people and institutions being either not caring enough or being too incompetent to stop it.

Same story as with Putin and the war in Ukraine. There was no logical reason nor a strategic benefit to a war in Ukraine. They had already humiliated Ukraine nationalists and ensured Ukraine could never join NATO by annexing Crimea. Ukraine would’ve been drifted into being a Russian client state like Belarus but the idiots in Moscow declared war anyway. No master plan, just gross incompetence and an impotent opposition.

Can’t wait to get sphered by china here in Oz. Who knew that the only thing you needed to do to become the new world hegemon was run a competent government for a couple decades.
