Well… yeah. Thats how threats work.
When you vote for violent thugs, and enable violent thugs then violent thugs feel empowered to act like violent thugs. It’s almost as if anyone could have seen this outcome coming.
This has all been theater for a long time.
Our owners just don’t care to pretend otherwise anymore, because they no longer need to. They’re even starting to cut out the former “opposition” party they got on the take in the 80s to accomplish this coup.
Welcome to the party most have willfully ignored, hoping to be a big winnah in a sea of exploited losers.
Sad most just want to back this off to the neoliberal policies that set the table for this and call that victory, when we need a new framework, something between the New deal and Norway. Unless we socially enfranchise our society from the bottom up with tangible, economic support, and start judging the health of our society by our worst off members, we’d meet right back here after another 10-15 years of the well bribed good cop party(D) being just dandy with murder for profit health insurance schemes and our most betrayed neighbors dying under our crumbling freeways.

This constitution has failed. It failed decades ago, but few were willing to acknowledge the ugly truth. If you don’t accept that as a starting point if you’re American, you’re still digging.
When the various circuit courts allowed slower level judges like Canon to keep not enforcing good law on the people staging a coup, the judges allowed the Constitution to be destroyed. It’s just a piece of paper unless it’s upheld and defended.
The right wing has been undermining the federal courts for decades with unqualified ideologue appointments and this is the result. The rule of law is gone and the coup needs to remove any and all remaining opposition. It’s classic dictatorship 101 to remove judges who oppose you, both through legal and violent means. The courts failed to act as a body of law for decades and now they are in serious trouble.
Where are all the 17 year old Kenosha kids chomping at the bit to grab an AR15 and stand a protective vigil in front of judges’ houses to protect them from violence and property damage?
How could we have seen this coming? /s

Where can we voice our support for judges?
Depends on the judge. There are corrupt ones.
The most easily identified by whether they support the current administration in any way.
Obviously the question is how can we support the judges who are being THREATENED by our fascist executive branch.
Realistically speaking, we can’t “support” them in the sense of making them safe from those threats. Not unless we’re recruiting people to volunteer to be their bodyguards, anyway.
Sadly, the most practical way to counter this would be to threaten them for not doing their jobs, but it would take a lot for such threats to counterbalance the ones from the MAGAs and, of course, we would be targeted by the regime for persecution for making them instead of protected from it.
