I had a feeling they’ll put something like this, so I went in every now and then to see how infinity will react. I really loved the app, devs did an amazing job

The announcement is missing mentioning that any content tagged aw NSFW will not be accessible from their app. This was one of the biggest points that made the API changes impracticable for app devs, charging a very significant amount of money for a reduced experience .

That’s absolutely the most insane part, they’re the most affected, but also the most likely to just ignore it.

They’re likely not real users but posting bots for companies. Hopefully real users will migrate them to Lemmy

Honestly, I was talking more about the mods. I only know of about three NSFW subreddits that have actually migrated, my own included. There are plenty that have popped up under the same name on Lemmy instances, sure, but for the most part, the mod team from reddit isn’t involved and are just happily chugging along over there.
