Celebrating the removal of an asinine law that forbid people from doing a common task themselves.

Rule 8 is too dystopian for me. I hate that I can totally see this becoming a real thing.

I wonder if there’s a genetic competent to it like cilantro. I like aspartame, hate acesulfame potassium, and stevia is kinda meh.

I strongly disagree with this decision – as lemmy progresses and stabilizes, open registrations will become normal and just blocking open instances will not be a viable solution.

I can’t say if this is just a need for better mod tooling or a fundamental problem with federation, but it’s certainly concerning.
