But think from their perspective, you could jump out and run away hoping the drone chases someone else, or you could stay in the truck and maybe out run it. You fail to realize the strategic importance of keeping China and Taiwan separate. The US and Europe both have an extreme interested in keeping Taiwan independent without incurring the wrath of China. Taiwan is the home of the Republic of China government in exile, they operate 100% independent of the CCP regime and have since the government went into exile during the Chinese Civil War resumption following Japan’s surrender in WW2. Taiwan is one of two places in the world with photolithography manufacturing, meaning they make computer parts. Arguably the most important modern manufacturing sector in the world. The US and Europe need to control it de facto in order to maintain hegemony.

I am not using my own definition of fascism, if you read what I wrote, I am saying that what you are asking me to find in modern chinese society is not a marker of every form of fascism, and to quantify fascism by only those parameters is distracting from every other form of fascism that has been present in history.
