You still can’t get Rocket League on Steam on an account that didn’t already have the game bought before it was F2P. Is this the case for Fall Guys, or did they go further and stop updating the Steam version?

Some apps can disable it, I think Discord does so people don’t get tricked into pasting random scripts into the console
The one thing I hope they change is making Vivian’s story closer to how it was in the original Japanese version. I imagine they’re more likely to just remove the trans elements from every version of the script, but it would be nice to see it represented in the US localization this time.
Last time I tried the Linux version of Resolve, it wouldn’t start up due to it being incompatible with the default AMD drivers. This was years ago, so maybe it works now.
The only cool thing about Opera was how when you used Opera Mini on a phone with a physical keyboard you could move a cursor around the screen using the arrow keys
Still thinking about that one debate where they were introducing the candidates and Trump just stood in the tunnel for some reason
Federated Miiverse clone when
(I’m half joking but I’m also curious on if the Pretendo team is open to implementing ActivityPub…)
As much as I know Nintendo would love to sell the same games again, I doubt they’d rather put in the time and effort to port the most popular games than put that effort towards being able to continue selling the Switch’s pre-existing back catalog on the new system.
edit: However, I can definitely see them doing the PS5 thing and charging $10 to upgrade Switch 1 games to take advantage of the Switch 2.
I wouldn’t be surprised if this had something to do with the impending Microsoft buyout, seeing as they’ve been putting all their PC games on Steam for a while. That being said, I also wouldn’t be surprised if Microsoft starts moving away from both Steam and Battle.net once the deal closes in favor of the Xbox launcher now that they have a ton of potential exclusives for it.
I blame Thingiverse, should have gotten it off of Printables instead so the site would finish loading before bedtime
I think they need to find a way to merge the BOTW open world with the more traditional structure of Zelda games. The issue is that those two philosophies are sort of at odds with each other, with BOTW and TOTK not wanting the player to be locked out of anything while exploring the world while the traditional structure has you unlock items throughout the game in order to solve puzzles, which there are much fewer of outside of dungeons. It can work though, if Wind Waker is any indication with its side islands.
This is still a good deal but it’s worth noting that they stopped selling the mainline Sonic games in this pack when they released Origins.
As far as I know, talklittle is focused on making a Tildes app called Three Cheers for now, and had been working it even before the announcement from Reddit. As much as it would be nice to have a Lemmy successor to RIF, the closest we’ll probably get any time soon is an app that’s just inspired by the RIF design.
I wonder if they have big plans for the series going forward if they went out of their way to create new logos for the first 3 games to match the 4th one… or some executive just wanted to keep the branding consistent.
If you want something else to add, /r/functionalprint just officially moved to !functionalprint@kbin.social!
I think this was a promotional stunt GameStop did years ago.
