I see. The pushback was good to see, but still seeing the comments and seeing other members consider leaving was what pushed me to act while calling out this stuff.

The issue is the traumatizing/retaumatizing of having to see such awful posts in a Safe space though. That’s my issue and also how awful people are being in my post i reported

Odd that a organization aimed at moving people at risk of legal or other physical safety risks would organize or work over unnecrypred discord. You’d think a serious organization would use Element/matrix or signal to communicate securly, very alarming.

They’ll likely federate with those who worked with them and signed NDA. They are probably going to allowlist federate … My guess

They can fork the project files and have a community edition

This is tiring for those whom are being attacked by that stuff in covert manner. Think about it from the minority persons perspective, day in day out they see abusive content, in media, their home and in discussion forums. It doesn’t help to be forced to see this in a safe space either. The stuff i link in this post isn’t good for the mental health and wellbeing of people.

It only really encourages it to show no punishment for clearly abusive actions though. It says in the rules of the community that stuff like that is clearly not tolerated
