Yeah, I’m not included in this article is the idea that the VA is actually split up into three segments. One of them is the veterans benefits association. The other one is the veterans health administration and then the third one is the national cemetery organization that plans out who gets to be buried in a national cemetery such as Arlington national Park.

I don’t think there’s been enough transparency on who’s actually getting fired here … And as a veteran, I think it’s a little bit disingenuous to say that you’re gonna honor our country and our veterans and then/funding and employment at an organization that already needs the help

Everything in healthcare is more expensive now, and the amount of increase in funds has not been proportional to that increase for many decades. Just my two cents

The only other budget cut I can think of right now that would create less favorable publicity is, if they cut all the funding to the VA, or more specifically to the VBA(which is in charge of distributing funds to people with disabilities due to being deployed or enrolled in military service ) 

I think there needs to be a senate & congress vote AND a majority of states need to ratify the amendment after which the Supreme court does a review.

Elon Musk and Donald Trump are so out of touch with the basic American citizen today that I’m sure they think the Postal Service is the organization that puts up road signs and highway barriers or something

I just saw on CNN that Elon Musk sent out an email asking everybody to detail what they accomplished last week at work and if people failed to comply or don’t respond, it’ll be considered an act of resignation 

This is not the way to treat quality employees if we keep this up the only people who wanna work for a government will be complete shit bags who can’t do anything anyway

I’m a government contractor and I plan to pass up all government employment opportunities that come my way during this administration. It’s not much, but if everybody booze Allen Hamilton lighthouse, and the other big contractors quit their jobs. Our government will not be able to function within their roles. No shame to people who have to continue to work for the government. Of course you have to feed your family first



Take the good with the bad, if we have to re-do the voting system I say we move towards a more popular-voting system and get rid of the electoral collage, it’s time to shake up the gerrymandering of districts in favor of GOP Senators/Congress.

Maybe it’s because I’m just very sensitive to these sorts of issues but when somebody fires a black man because they think he’s “woke”, it makes me believe that they didn’t fire him because he was woke. They fired him because he was black.

I am a contractor that usually works on DOD or VA projects and until further notice I am declining all of those job offers. I realize this is not possible for all contractors but Leidos, Booze Allen, and other contractors cannot function without the work force, and as part of a protest I refuse to be part of jt.

Interesting fact… If you go through Department of War records, there are no medals of any type issued to Soldiers from the south. Wanna know why? Cause they were never part of the US Military, they were a rebellion that attempted to change, attack, and suppress the law of the land using violence and force.

The party of Lincoln was out there waving confederate flags at NASCAR events and protesting the black girl who stared in the “little mermaid”…how odd….

Anyway.

I hope that some day the GOP will be like the Nazi and the Confederates. We will not have their flags hung over schools, or wear their emblems openly in public.
