Apparently, they were already planning to roll it back before Dermott used the tape. I know how unlikely that sounds but I heard Scotia Bank didn’t like the decision and put pressure on the league. I can easily believe the NHL caved to pressure from big money.

This was such a weird call to begin with. I’m not sure how they expected it to work out. Glad it was walked back.

I haven’t really been back since my 3rd party of app shutdown. It wasn’t some big moral protest on my part. I just have no easy access to a good app for it now.
