Persona is a series I enjoyed despite the gameplay and not because of it.
At some point you’re out and have to farm them. I never found that a problem, but some people do.
I do not understand how that makes a case for metaverse/VR hangouts. Could you elaborate?
Piracy is not just available to the most diehard fans. It has never been so easy to just download a full ROM set to even your phone and play those games there. There are ROM+emu prepackaged bundles that don’t even really look illegal.
On top of that, Titanic can be watched online, because it was a well known and influencial film. I can’t watch a significant number of movies without dusting off my VCR, because they’re unavailable digitally. I can’t even pirate those things, because they aren’t anywhere.
