The difference is the bridge. Fiddle has a flatter bridge to make it easier to hit all four strings at once. Violin has a curved bridge to make it difficult to hit multiple strings at once.

3·1 day agoI’ve been saying for over a year that a much easier, and less politically suicidal, way for Xi to beat the island chain defense is to take back the Vladivostok oblast. It was part of China not even 150 years ago, there is a significant percentage, possibly even a plurality, of Han descended people, and it’s not like Russia is gonna have the army to stop a special military operation, or any allies to get upset about it.
2·1 day agoI wouldn’t call Roblox itself a gacha game. That category is the ones where you are trying to collect all the heroes in the game and level them up with rare loot. AFAIK they generally, if not always, involve loot crates that you have to purchase.
Roblox has its own problems. As spelled out by People Make Games in these two videos.

Roblox claims to teach kids how to make their own games. At this point from what I’ve heard, I would suggest Unity Engine before Roblox, and I wouldn’t recommend Unity after their pricing debacle.
Watch the videos, and have a serious discussion with his parents about it before you get him that game platform.

I wanted to see how many assassination attempts needed to happen for Trump to have the most. I thought 4 would do it after getting past Lincoln, who had 3.
Apparently Obama had 11 attempts on his life.
It doesn’t say if he drives all of them, but according to this he has at least 3-4 Teslas along with several other cars that he really shouldn’t be driving. Apparently he uses the Model Y as a “family car.”

I’m not vegan, and not trying to say people should be vegan. I love me a good steak, but I was out with some vegan friends, and we went to a vegan restaurant. They served me something that was doing an excellent impression of a steak. Good enough that if I knew which various plant protein they were using, I’d make that at home.
Burgers they have down these days, and eating veggies burgers allows me to have more meals a week without meat. Same for most sausages. I don’t know how they did it, but I had a vegan brat that had a snappy “skin.”
