We have some hops that are starting to go a little rogue that were planted at the edge of our berry garden. Unfortunately they are starting to crowd out our berries and we want to remove the hops.
Short of digging them up, is there a safe chemical way that won’t impact our berries?

This will eventually kill the rhizome/crown/what-ever-the-hell it is now?
Cut them, then cover them with tarps, plastic, or several layers of cardboard. You can put mulch over the cover to make it look better.
