What software do I need to use to create a 3D wireframe of an object such an imported stl?
Essentially, I’d like to create something like this out of an existing stl (preferably) or created by hand if needed?

Alternatively, if you just want a render of it and not a 3D print, then there are also various ways to do it with shaders and renderer settings.
Okay I’ll check this out. I’ve not touched Blender out of intimidation. Every time I install it, I’m just overwhelmed with the insane amount of buttons and levers you can pull or push.
I guess it’s time to sit down, bite down on a stick and do it.
Adding a wireframe modifier is pretty simple - I’m sure you’ll do fine with that.
If you want to get into modeling in blender, I highly recommend the donut tutorial series by blenderguru. It’s on YouTube.
I’ll check out that series. Need a bit of a jumó start to get started.
