YOU (I am assuming you are American) have been sleeping at the wheel of your democracy for 30 years or so, if you find yourself between a rock and a hard place, with no easy solutions out of the mess, you only have yourselves to blame (and here I am saying “YOU” as in “The American People”, all the boilerplate exceptions apply)
