A lot of them also vape in the building when they think they won’t get caught

Who cares, it doesn’t even smell like anything, let alone in the ballpark of cigs

I am more annoyed by stinky heavy perfumes. Let’s tell people who enter buildings smelling like whole periodic table to think about their life.

I am routinely pinching my nose with my fingers near them and staring but they rarely get the memo.

Nothing worse when someone enters on 0 floor and you smell C16H14O2 on the tenth

As someone who does vape, I can tell you for a fact it does leave a residue. It takes a LONG time to build up, and even then it’s only really noticeable on transparent things like glass, but it’s a pain to clean off without specific cleaners. Otherwise it looks perpetually smeared. Best to avoid it so the employees don’t have to guess why their windows won’t clean right.

Well to be honest if it was perfectly acceptable it would lose its flavour. Sometimes we just do things we can get away with and that’s the whole charm. Make it commonplace smoke clouds everywhere and it’s just lame

Legalise weed and suddenly it is not that fun because avoiding the police was the whole half of the charm

Make illegal to drink water and suddenly everyone is over hydrated

It’s just such a feeling to do things you technically are forbidden. Some kind of intoxicating drug in itself. I don’t even like incest but it’s so taboo that it becomes extremely hot hence the certain indie game popularity

          We love the forbidden

Sometimes I even think communist regime coming back wouldn’t be that bad because we could have the pleasure of personal rebellion. Voting is pleasurable and all but it doesn’t pack the same punch.

I am very jealous of Americans in 2025. Me here, I already live in as perfect country as it gets so it’s hard to find a good thing to protest but you have a prime opportunity over and over from BLM to other things.

Well one can always annoy Chinese 🇨🇳 gov dogs as they seem to feel a bit too comfortable online lately

We legalized weed and the thing that changed was the official stats for usage went up due to not worrying about legal ramifications. Not one person here in Canada said they stopped smoking weed because it became legal.

            Stop being a bootlicking dolt.

You seem like the type whose college-age room is covered in blacklight posters, and tells their younger sibling’s friends about how the Mayans invented cell phones.

Honestly, I was at an indoor event with live music just this past weekend. They had a fog machine (a real one, that’s not a metaphor), and I saw at least one person get up on stage during one of the performances, and in the middle of the performances, they whipped out their vape and took a big rip literally in front of hundreds of people, including staff at the facility and everything. Nobody gave a shit.

If you’re just sitting in a corridor and chugging on a vape, I’m pretty sure someone will care, but if you take the odd puff, and you’re not in people’s faces about it then it’s unlikely anyone will give enough of a shit to say anything.

Aside from that, I want to amplify that there is a residue from vaping, it is very little compared to cigarettes or any other combustible tobacco/nicotine product. I usually notice it the most in my car. It makes the windows look almost oily…

I wouldn’t say it’s particularly difficult to get off of the surfaces, after all, e-juice is water soluble. I’m not saying it’s easy, just not hard, especially if you compare to the tar from combustible tobacco products…

The anecdote is especially funny to me because fog machines are essentially giant vapes, down to using similar ingredients, so it stands to reason that folks wouldn’t care much in that scenario. Agreed wholeheartedly all around.

Yup, I can confirm that fog machines use basically the same components, technology and ingredients as vapes, aside from the obvious (, nicotine/flavoring).

            They’re just… Industrial sized.

On one hand you guys argue “it’s just water vapor”, on another, you’re claiming it’s so addictive you can’t even take a shit without taking a puff?

Also, weird admission lol. Do you eat lunch in the bathroom too?

Sounds like you have a nicotine one, so it’s basically still second hand smoke

My comment was based on the parallels which can be drawn between so desperately needing a nicotine “hit”, that you’re doing it in the least hygenic location, and the similarity with hardcore druggies who snort drugs off the toilet lid, because they can’t wait a few hours…

It’s further supported by the fact that you’ve flooded this comment 4x, in a way that suggests this isn’t the first time it has been suggested you have a problem… In fact, if anything, it seems you’re trying to justify others being forced to breathe small amounts of nicotine by suggesting everyone has a drug problem anyway.

Your comment not only has nothing supporting it, but, despite the attempt, doesn’t affect me at all honestly. I run a free hiking group, and the ratings for me as a guide/person are good. I’ve had maybe a grand total of 3 or 4 glasses of drinks this entire year honestly during special occasions, and most events I go to, nobody even drinks anymore (I’m also trying to lose more weight, and alcohol doesn’t help with that).

Just remember, in 20 years time (possibly when you have cancers discovered to be common with vaping years from now) you’ll never look back at vaping and think it was worthwhile. You need to ask yourself if they’ve ever made your life better, or whether they’ve made tobacco shops lives better only…

I won’t be responding again, but you seriously need to consider mental help.

I’m not sure what else you have going on, but there is clearly a lot happening. You clearly need more hobbies or something

Seriously, go join a Meetup, go hiking, etc

You don’t need nicotine to relax. You just need something to distract you. And that’s coming from someone who used to stress every night…

The way you’re responding is a serious concern that makes you sound like a suicide risk honestly. Maybe you need a change of environment
