Another good reason to try to have a career where you can work from home. Just stay stocked up in the winter and if everything goes to shit no big deal, you just stay home, and if you have to you bundle up.

The whole city is under attack from the trees!

Some of the worst ice storms we’ve had have been in late March. Especially sucks with trees knocking down overhead powerlines.

Plenty of downed power lines. Looks like it’ll be a few days until we’re back to normal.

I live in a southern part of the US where we occasionally have hurricanes roll through. That doesn’t scare me nearly as much as when I hear the words “freezing rain” on the weather report

This happened in my city shortly after I bought my first house. It was so nauseating listening to tree branches crashing down on my roof all night.
