It doesn’t need to be a big instance. It just needs to link with them. In fact it’s better if it never shows up in posts or comments at all. Just send those tendrils out to every instance they know of and let their data tools filter through it all.

Considering .ml was the first Lemmy instance, for it to be a honeypot the entire Lemmy network would have to be, it’s just a bunch of tankies
