Summary

The Biden administration announced $725 million in military aid to Ukraine, including Stinger missiles, anti-drone weapons, Himars munitions, and artillery shells.

The assistance aims to bolster Ukraine’s defenses ahead of Donald Trump’s presidency, as he has pledged to cut all aid and push for peace talks.

This package is part of a larger $7 billion effort to support Ukraine before Biden leaves office.

It includes measures like Atacms strikes into Russia and repealing restrictions on U.S. contractors repairing equipment in Ukraine.

Deliveries will be expedited through Pentagon stocks.

Maybe we’ll even see a bit of that money at some point in the future

Edit: wait, do people actually read my comments as me wanting to get directly paid from that money? I did not expect that to be an unironical take, but I guess some actually express that sentiment?

To spell it more directly: maybe we’ll even see a bit of that money actually spent for the sake of Ukrainian soldiers that are fighting on the frontlines as opposed to lining the pockets of corrupt politicians, oligarchs and military brass

No one is being given cash but that is a fact that people like you will continue to ignore. Unless you want to start getting paid in bullets and missiles by the government…

I would like our (that is, Ukrainian) soldiers to get some of those bullets and missiles before the money gets stolen off by the corrupt politicians. But I guess the most I can expect is for people to misread my comments.
